LIPARITA RUTHERFORD CABERNET SAUVIGNON
We are dedicated to bringing Liparita back to the luster of its glory days, by creating wine with the same frontier spirit that embodied the award-winning wines of its thriving past. The founder of Liparita, William S. Keyes, started the winery in 1880 with the aim of putting California wine front and center on the world stage. The label retains the heritage of the past, but displays the crested initial of my father, Spencer Hoopes. The winemaking concept is similar as well, focused on making great wines from extraordinary appellations. This modern Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon captures the unique characteristics of the dusty Rutherford soils.

This wine opens with notes of black fruit and seasoned wood with hints of cassis, blackberry, plum and black currant. This weighty and enticing wine has fine dusty tannins with exemplary balance. Notes of cigar box, dark chocolate and earth round out the entry of ripe berries and plum.
